Organic Prawns

THIS FISH Organic Prawns are sustainably farmed in the clean and southern most mangrove areas of Vietnam. The mangroves trap the nutrients from the daily tidal changes in which the prawns grow eating a natural diet of phytoplankton throughout the allotted mangrove enclaves. Sustainable, ecological and organic prawn farming is important for the protection of mangrove forests in the southern parts of Vietnam. The farm must maintain a 50% mangrove tree quota for certification, which also ensures a calmer water environment for the Tiger Prawns to grow. A maximum of 2–4 prawns are allowed per square meter, eating a natural diet of what the mangrove swamp provides, leaving you with prawn meat as nature intended – clean, honest, organic.
